Describe of Inert Ceramic Alumina Ball-17% Al2O3

Inert Ceramic Alumina Balls with 17% Al₂O₃ are widely used as catalyst bed support media in various chemical, petrochemical, and environmental applications. These balls are made from high-quality raw materials, primarily alumina and kaolin clay, ensuring excellent mechanical strength and chemical stability.

Key Characteristics:

  • Alumina Content: Approximately 17% Al₂O₃

  • Shape: Spherical

  • Color: White to light gray

  • Size Range: Commonly available in sizes from 3mm to 50mm (custom sizes available)

  • Bulk Density: ~1.35–1.40 g/cm³

  • Crush Strength: High, depending on size

  • Water Absorption: ≤5%

  • Thermal Resistance: Withstands rapid temperature changes and high operating temperatures up to 1000°C

  • Chemical Stability: Excellent resistance to acid, alkali, and organic solvents
